As you’ll read below, I am familiar with high-pressure, mission-critical situations.
Along with years of Production, Writing, and Management experience, I am proficient
in all aspects of computer operations, hardware, software, and programming - I am
a Microsoft Certified Software Engineer specializing in Internet solutions (MCSE+I)
and an active Webmaster, currently supporting several corporate and multi-media
websites. I am also a Software Developer and Database Administrator. I am also fully
experienced in handling general office tasks and following administrative procedures.
I am very alert, learn quickly, and seldom need supervision.
What my résumé does not reveal is my professional demeanor and appearance. In
a business environment, these qualities are of the utmost importance in dealing
with clients as well as co-workers. In me, you’ll discover a reliable, detail-oriented
and extremely hard-working associate; one who will serve as a model to encourage
other staff members to demonstrate the same high standard of professionalism.
I am available for full-time or per-project employment. I would prefer a creative
Internet &/or computer-savvy firm in the Los Angeles area. If you will contact me
at (818) 237-7344, or by email at nick@savalas.tv,
we can schedule an appointment. Thank you, in advance, for your consideration.

and parsed continually by the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission to insure
the absolute protection and integrity of customers' financial data. I designed,

Allwyn Pictures, Hollywood, CA (12/1983 - 3/1998) Associate Producer/Writer
- Allwyn Pictures Corp. was the Motion Picture production firm
owned by Howard Koch/Telly Savalas. While the list of entertainment and multi-media
ventures are too long to list here, I was responsible at first for duties as
Production Assistant, later as Production Designer, and finally as Associate
Producer. I handled, in this final capacity, tasks such as overseeing and approving
talent contracts, accommodations, travel details, location scouting and permits,
approving and verifying production costs, and the hiring and management of staff
and crew. Other tasks included on-air appearances, voice-over sessions, editing,
directing short films and videos, and script and music writing.
Grand Plaza Hotel, Chicago, IL (11/1979 - 9/1983) Swing Manager
- The Grand Plaza Hotel was the premier luxury hotel for the
O'Hare Airport/Chicago Area. I began here as a front desk clerk, and was quickly
promoted to swing-shift (late night) manager. My duties included hiring and
managing employees, ordering and checking inventory of hotel supplies and foodstuffs,
and insuring complete customer satisfaction. During this period, the Grand Plaza
Hotel was awarded a 4-star rating. Unfortunately, this hotel was sold in late
1983, changed management, and was renamed the O'Hare International Airport Hotel.

already had experience as a Laboratory Assistant, and was tested, and found
suitable, for my final assignment in Ft. Sam Houston, TX, as a Laboratory Supervisor
