Starting position. Feet together facing partner.
Step Tempo La Conga Step (Basic Step) to the Right.
1 quick Step to the Right on the right foot.
2 quick Step to the Right on the left foot in-front of right.
3 quick Step to the Right on the right foot.
4 slow Swing left foot, knee slightly flexed across right.
La Conga Step to the Left
Repeat above 4 steps to the Left with opposite footwork
Repeat the Basic Step as often as desired. Occasional turns may also be substituted to the Right and then to the Left, pivoting on Steps 1 and 2 and completing the turn on step 3

Step Tempo Schottische Step Forward and Backward.
1 quick Step forward on right fooot
2 quick Step forward on left foot
3 quick Step forward on right foot
4 quick Small hop on right foot with left knee slightly flexed.
Repeat with opposite footwork. Then repeat the sequence of 8 steps backward instead of forward. Thus on the first 4 steps partners will be shoulder to shoulder, and with second 4 they will pass each other. Then reverse. Figure can be done to either or both sides.

Step Tempo Pas de Basque
1 quick Step to the Right on the right foot. \
2 and Step to the Right on the left foot in-front of right. Cross Step to the Right
3 quick Step back into place on right foot. /
4 quick Step to the Left on the left foot. \
5 and Step to the Left on the right foot in-front of left Cross Step to the Left
6 slow Step back into place on left foot /
Note: Step 6 will count longer than Step 3.
